Baya Beach
Baya Beach is a small beach close to Tugboat Beach and Directorsbay. The beach consists of fine sand and petrified coral. Several palm trees provide pleasant shadows.
The beach is mainly frequented by locals and especially on Sundays. Then you can smell all kinds of delicious smells from the BBQs and you can hear a lot of fun around you.
In the past Baya Beach was used by Shell as a so-called bunker harbor. That is to say, it was a place where sea-going vessels moored only to be filled with fuel. Some of the bunkering harbor infrastructure is still present in the vicinity of Baya Beach.
