Christoffelberg

The Christoffelberg is the highest point on Curaçao with a height of 375 meters. For the real sports enthusiasts who want to climb this mountain, it is smart to start the tour between 06:00 and 07:00 in the morning because it can get very hot due to the Caribbean temperatures. In the afternoon you can no longer start the climb because of the heat.

You have two points where you can start. If you want to see everything you can start at the foot of the mountain. You first walk for an hour through a bushy area. Here you can spot beautiful birds and warm up your muscles for the rise.

Would you rather start climbing immediately? Then you can do the first part by car. You only have one route for the car and you end up at a parking lot. From there you can also start the climb. On average, it will take you an hour from this point to get to the top of the mountain! Of course this depends on your condition etc.

Provide plenty of water and wear sturdy shoes. The trip up is fun to do and in some places you have a phenomenal view. Once you reach the top you can enjoy an impressive view!
