The Blue Room

Do you fancy a fun trip? The Blue Room is a cave where the beautiful water is illuminated by the sun making it appear deep blue.

You can get here in several ways. You can get here via a hiking trail starting at Playa St. Cruz. From this starting point you can choose a fast route on a sandy path or you can choose a route along the cliff edges. On the last route you will see very beautiful things, but you will also be on the road longer.

During the walking tour you will pass Boka Santu Pretu. This is a beach with dark sand, very nice to view. At the end of the trail you have to keep right and you will arrive at a cliff where you can enter the water. It is not high so you can go straight in. Note, it can be difficult to get out because you don't have stairs. If you choose this route, make sure to put on closed shoes.

Another option to reach the Blue Room is by canoe. At Playa St. Cruz you have Captain Goodlife (left side on the beach) where you can rent these canoes. It's about 20 minutes of paddling and then you arrive at the cave.

To fully enjoy the cave you have to bring a snorkel set because you have beautiful schools of fish swimming here!
