Director's bay
This beach is a bit hidden and not overrun by mass tourism. You have a parking space above the beach where you can park your car. From here you also have a super nice view over the sea!
To reach the beach you have to go down a few steps and then you are directly on the beach. The nice thing about this beach is that you have palapas with picnic tables here, so you can sit in the shade.
Before 1985, Director's Bay was a private beach for the Shell directors. After Shell left Curaçao, Director's Bay became a public beach.
Do you want to work on your tan on this beach? Then we recommend that you bring a beach chair or beach bed because it is not completely a sandy beach. Some parts are also covered with pebbles.
The beautiful reef is home to colorful fish and makes this a real hotspot for snorkelers. You also have an old buoy in the water here, making it part of life under water.
