Museum of Natural History Curaçao
Bon Biní, welcome to the Fun Curaçao page of the Curaçao Natural History Museum, a brand new museum concept in which we visualize the stories of nature on our island, to tell you the stories of our history!
The museum officially opened its doors on February 19, 2019 and opened its doors to the general public on February 20, 2019. The museum can now be visited from Wednesday to Saturday and we also offer guided tours of the museum (every Friday at 10am and every Saturday at 11:30am).
Of course, the multiple activities such as free presentations, workshops, walks and nature courses at the museum that we are organizing from July 2018 are still going strong and our event list is constantly being updated. So what can you expect in our museum? To start with, a full exhibition about the geological history of Curaçao with all the interesting bits about our rock formations and fossils; a comprehensive view of the Gastropod diversity of our waters with an extensive display of local shells, wildlife photography exhibits and much more, telling the stories of our flora and fauna.
