Net Bar
The oldest bar in Otrobanda, home to the world famous 'rom berde' (green rum), which is 100% homegrown and can only be found in Curaçao.
Ernesto “Netto” Koster founded this bar in the 1950s and after retiring at the age of 87 he continued to visit his beloved bar. Six months before his bar's 50th anniversary, he died in 2002.
The bar is decorated with football memorabilia, pictures of Dutch royalty and other fun, slightly tacky stuff. Jesus “Chu” Zimmerman (Netto's child prodigy) continues to run the business.
