Playa Santa Cruz is one of the largest beaches on Curaçao, with several picnic tables and palapas. It is a quiet beach but on Sundays locals come here with large groups of BBQs, which is very pleasant. The beach is open 24 hours.

On the left side of the beach you can go to Captain Goodlife for something to eat or a cold drink. You can book a boat trip here to the Blue Room, a beautiful illuminated underwater cave for snorkeling. You have to bring your own snorkel set because they are not rented here.

Via this beach you can also start a walk to the Blue Room and there is also a walking route to Playa Santu Pretu, which means the black beach.
