The village of St. Willibrordus is located halfway through the southern part of Curaçao, about 10 kilometers from Willemstad. The Church of St. Willibrordus is a striking building. When you drive from Willemstad towards St. Willibrordus, you can already see the church a few kilometers away.
The church was consecrated in 1888, after which the village was named after this church. The village used to be called Buitenbosch.
