The Salt Pans stretch from Jan Thiel to Mambo Beach and it is a beautiful, popular place for walking. There are several paths to get to the Salt Pans. With a bit of luck you will spot a group of flamingos here!

In the past, the Salt Pans were made to extract salt from seawater. Water from the ocean was led here and closed off, causing the water to evaporate and leaving the salt behind.
